I need a year to do a motor,tranny, diff swap along with a lot of body work. I'm cramming in a baby six. You can do whatever you want to your car. I don't expect to win but it doesn't mean I won't try my bestest. And I don't condone street racing. Just a street segmant where we see whose car is more streetable and who knows an apex from there ass.
last time I checked I owned a 62 beetle which I love dearly. I am a aircooled owner like it or not.

i have no doubt that your car could kick the crap out of any aircooled vw that i throw at it on a road course, but last time i checked street races and mission dont really have corners.....

Actually Danny I have pictures of an Aircooled Beetle kicking the crap outta everything they could throw at it in an Autocross race. It was a guy from the states; drove a lowered 15 window pulling a trailer with one sweet ass Autocross Beetle on it. It was years ago but I'll see if I can find the picture I have of it going INTO a corner at over 45Mph. Perfectly level and not sliding. Don't know how he did it but he won 3 events that weekend. He was up against everything from an Austin Mini Cooper S to a done up '82? Scirocco.

Keep in mind this was back in 1989.
