Just got back from the cruise and WHAT A BLAST!
Cindy and I got to the Cloverdale mall early and there was already a big crowd an hour prior to cruise start! I gestimated about 50 rods and customs on the cruise from blown Nova II's to 1928 Model A's - and everything inbetween.
Cruise went well - I was one of a couple with a break down - luckily it happend right in front of Canadian Tire in whalley so I was able to run in (blown 16a fuse, killed my car dead - upgraded to a 25a as that was all that was there and I figured maybe the H4's draw to much?)
The cruise was on the long side but we arrived at the Casino in CLoverdale to a large crowd - They seperated us to two areas - one was just a parking stall and the other was on the grass right in front of the main doors, I got picked to be on the grass for the photo's - SWEEET score
Considering the amount of awsome HP that was there everyone was controlled (somewhat hehehe) and it was an awsome event.
Cost - 5 buck donation - got me a dash plaque, embroidered Tshirt, 2 pins, coupons and a bunch of other goodies! Not to frickin' bad!
Tmrw morning there will be a large all types show here in Cloverdale - there are classes for imports so I am going and Brian (redsnapper) is aswell - it would be awsome to cruise in with a group of Vw's so if anyone is into it cost is 10 bucks to get in (goes to charity) there is a huge amount of fun stuff for the entire family to do (pony rides,face painting, market area yadda yadda) So come on out!
If you would like to cruise in with Brian and I so we can all park near each other post here and we'll set up a meeting place - Brian needs to be there early as he needs to leave his car for awhile so look at around a 7:30 meeting ( we can walk somewhere for breaky after )
