Well..im sure most of you have seen the news with the SRT4 neon that took out the tree on 262 in maple ridge..these kids were at my house a few hours prior to all this going down..they are some of my brothers best friends. 2 were killed and another was air lifted to the hospital with serious injuries..

my brother just got over his buddy being hit by the train in his car..he was killed just a few months agao..
And my best friend Ray just got out of surgery again yesterday..a few months agao he was ejected from a honda that rolled end for end and basicly broke everything but some how managed to live. we went fishing last night!

Personally these 3 guys are not my friends..but they were all hanging out at my house on a daily basis.

really i dont know what im trying to say..it just blows my mind that 3 kids that i saw constantly are dead all in such a short period of time..and one is still in the hospital..i dont know if he will make it

obviously the SRT 4 was speeding..and i know the road there is a bad one..when i was a little younger 2 of my friends were killed on that road in a mustang.

i know we are all into hot cars..and i love hauling ass just as much as the next guy..but life is short. be smart is all i can say really. 3 kids dead and 1 who should have been killed..given the wreckage.. in a few months..life is short.

i could only imagine getting toasted in my bug.. it would be a loose loose situation for sure..i dont think any ammount of roll cage or seat belts are gonna help if your cutting down trees at 150+

to all you guys and gals, wear your damn seat belt and keep your foot out of it when ya dont know the roads your driving...or else you end up like these guys..and i dont wanna hear about any more people i know getting killed for a good long time..or ever again.

allright, i just had to vent..time to lay some paint on the bug.

Speed is much easier to get now adays from when I was 20.. and it is a shame to see so many young people dying because of it...

youth, inexperience, hormones, peer pressure....it's a crying shame. i'm not saying that it doesnt happen to older folks, but the youth of today seem so hell bent on trying to become something they're not. or trying to attain the unattainable.

i think in general, people just need to just slow the hell down. not just in their vehicles, but at work, at play, at home, at the grocery store. we're to soon going to be consumed with by own s#!t.

AMEN! Shitty news Cale. I know my kid is going to learn not just HOW to race his dirtbike, car, sled, etc, etc. BUT WHERE!!

Yeah i agree..i was not really brought up thinking that ripping all around town and high speed driving was a good thing..really i cant even feel sorry for these guys other than the fact that maybe they really did not know what they were doing..so much to the point where they had no clue that a car cant go that fast over a hump in the road like they did.

its just stupid..and i watch the news and they start smack talking the SRT4 like its the cars faulght.
