I Gotta Stop Looking At Rust Buckets

So I've been looking around for cheap beaters to get me around this winter. Just you know a all out rustflake rust absorber.
So I found this in the buy and sell. Euro spec... high miles blah blah blown strut.
Walk up to the house to check it out and notice that it has a reverse dent in the hood.
Pop the hood and what do I find...




Volkswagen didn't invent rust...



Bmw and Karmann just improved on it

Kirin a neighbour of mine has an older beamer not sure of year? New paint he did body for his daughter but she got something else. I know motor runs but needed some adjustments .Not sure but last time I talked to him he was thinking of sellin for $1000. -$1500 it's taking room in his drive way.

Hey Guys,
GRK if you could get more info that would be great. The fox wagon sounds also great since it would haul all my gear up to the mountains when I'm snowboarding. I just got to raise more funs by selling all my excess crap...
I just don't want to put any of my vehicles through the salt(I only own vintage iron now)

I know of an 1984 Audi, auto, 4door, only 85km original owner. She'd probably take $2500 as it's her baby.
