Many Thanks To Airspeed And.......
« on: July 28, 2005, 07:51:52 AM »
I just wanted to take a moment and thank Geoff and the staff at AIRSPEED and Gary at Tuck and Cover for all of their kindness, support, and  over the past few years....

Also to 'Butterballs' new father and mother, Shane & Amanda, take care of my baby....

And too all of you, you know who you are.....

I will be still hooking up the ASF daily, so even though I don't own an aircooled  vw I still enjoy the family atmosphere.....

Needles & Cameron out...

P.S. Off to buy the Volvo wagon in Abby... 'The Volvo Lady'.. You know what sticker will be going on my rear window ;)  THIS IS THE LITTLE GUY WHO CHANGED MY LIFE......

Ian, Next time your near my place check out the neighbour who lives one door south of me. He has a amazing 240 wagon. He bought it a year or so ago but it just seems to sit there. Maybe he will sell it?

fyi ian, the scirocco doesn't have a speck of rust on it...  ;)

and just because butterball isn't parked in your driveway doesn't mean that you're allowed to leave us. who else can we rely on to post those random pictures in the middle of threads?
Sometimes I get the feeling the whole world is against me, but deep down I know that's not true. Some smaller countries are neutral.

Great....... what about lowering kits and sway bars...whoops ...bad impulse control...
If Airspeed can't get them, then try IPD Volvo down in Portland. IPD Website

They will make all your Volvo wet dreams come true. My dad has driven Volvos since the 80's, and has had lots of IPD goodies on them. Great quality stuff.

Ford 5.0L V8's go nicely into Volvos as well.

Suuuuuuure you were kidding. Until you drive a Volvo, realise it's a pretty darn good car, but if it only had a little more suspension, and maybe some extra power, hmmmm......

It's a slippery slope. :P

I had a buddy with an RX-3 wagon with a 350 shoe horned in it. Fast in a straight line only to about 70km. Ran out of gear.

Thanks Silas!!

Yup I've been getting emails and phone calls, asking \"How are ya doing?\"

Kate said I didn't get this much attention when I broke my leg!

True.......but acvw people are a special breed/support system, and have a 'special' connection with the cars.........pretty weird look from her face.

I'm feeling pretty good.......mind you I havn't seen the 'other guy' driving ole butterball yet! :o
