Das Volks is taking place on Aug 5-7, I am just wondering if there is anyone else thinking of driving down to calgary for it?

Das Volks is always a great show. I think the dragracing is back this year on the friday night.
Would be nice to see some BC folks representing this year. B)

it is roughly 1200km i believe. i plan on leaving thursday, and making it a 2 day drive.

The Shuswap crew would be a tad shy of the half way mark.  From here it's a good 5 hours depending on vehicle and traffic.  Sorry to say that Waldo adn I will not be attending.  Looking forward to seeing pictures though.  Been alot of years since I've been to that show and drag.  Good times back then I'm sure it'll be a blast. :rockon:

18 years dumb=tswassen to calgary stampeed in just under 9hrs in my old gti. a little scarry 200+ k at times :blink:  :blink:
