I have only been here two days and I have seen more vintage VW's around than I would in a week in Vancouver. I saw a beautiful stock black oval yesterday along with a few cal look beetles. A very clean early grey panel van at Bow-Wow and lots of bay window buses (Not including all the dirty hippie buses that are everywhere)

It's good to see so many VW's on the streets.

If you roll by Bow Wow, look on the wall for a pic of my car... Merko said they have a great pic of it back in the 80's all gloss black with alloys doing a wheelie...

Ask them if you can run down to a Kinko's or Staples or somewhere to scan and print of a copy... please!

If only I could pull my thumb out and get mine out of the garage there would be 1 more bangin' gears on the island. Geoff what cha up to over here? SUNDAY JULY 10th Gyro park All VW show I didn't see it on the calendar, usually a good turn out, but I think we are in need of some more mainland representation. I can come up with some half ass directions if anyone is interested.

Actually there was a show in Victoria today at Hillside Mall. We were promoting somethign for Visa or the herbie movie, I'm not quite sure.

the victoria show at gyro park is great, anyone that has a chance to go should definitely do so! I am disappointed as I am being sent out of town for work and cannot attend this year.

I can't believe you came to the big city and didn't even call or come over. WE've been thashing for 10 days straight and could've found something for you to do! Had the beast running just in time for the rain to spoil today's racing. Oh well maybe return to the scene of the crime in Bremerton for the Strictly Speed import race on the 9th or else see you in Seattle a week later. Wayne

Iwas in town for a weding on Sunday. Had to spend most of Friday and sat doing weding stuff [_[ I did stop by Bow-Wow to pick up a few parts, Sorry Gav didnt see your post till Mon and I'm on my way to the ferry now.

The July 10th Victoria VW show is always a good one, If you have time to check it out do so.

Hey Geoff did you drive over in the Speed-E? I thought I saw it driving on the Pat Bay Highway stuck in a cluster of ferry traffic on friday.

Ahhhhh so nice to hear about everyone driving their beloved air kewlds........now off to work I go......in the Hondarossa.....
