I'm reading conflicting info on 1:25 rockers with a 125 cam, are they compatible? and if so will I gain any noticible difference over stock rockers? thanks guys

According to Engle they are compatible.
Whether they do anything for your engine is another matter.  If you have small dia valves I doubt the higher ratio will do anything for you.  I tried 1.25s on my W-125 many years ago and there was no difference, so I went back.
What size valves do you have?  Who ported the heads?

hey bruce, my valves are 40mm intake and 35.5mm exhaust in a set of empi 044's. i did a quick port match and blended the seats myself just to smooth them out, but was thinking of handing them over to a guy i work with (who has a flow bench and has been known to do some exellent work on v-8's) to massage them a bit more..............so are the 1:25's a waste of $$$?
