Nuts Bolts Fastners Etc Where Downtownish?
« on: May 23, 2005, 01:38:18 PM »
I was wondering if anyone knows of a place to get a good selection of nuts bolts etc at decent prices(ie not having to buy them in little packets for dollars. While i'm at it how about rubber bungs or plugs(not the type you can get down the bottom of granville street either....)

Cheers

The newish Canadian Tire on Main in N.Van has an excellent metric selection. Relatively decent prices. Pretty close to East Van Halen. Pacific Fastener off of Boundary/1st has all of the stainless metric. Nice guys too...  :mullet:

ive had good luck with fabory metrican in coquitlam
i used to use pacific but they are a little hard to deal with sometimes
(sometimes they are really easy do deal with, othertimes ive gone in and they really dont seem like they want my business....)
my two cents...

I've used both Pacific and Fabory.  Pacific is more convienient to me, but when I ask for something non-stainless they say they don't do non-stainless, then they get me what I want.  It's like they don't want my business.
I think they both have a $5 minimum.
