Anyone Have A Pan Based 356 Fs?
« on: May 20, 2005, 11:43:41 AM »
Hello everyone.

me and bugsmell have been on a Fiberglass buggy bender for a while now..im getting sick of having a steel roof over my head...

i have found a guy in Van that makes new manx bodys.. and see the odd one forsale on the list or in the buy and sell.. but it has been a long time since i have seen a pan based 356 kit car for sale..

anyone know who might have something like this? i talked to intermechanica and they dont make pan kits anymore..and it costs a good 25G to get a new one all done up

im thinking a turbo 356 could be fun..

if you or anyone ya know has one FS let me know please.

Thanks
Cale

i just want to loose the roof..

I don't get why Manx repro bodies are so cheap, and '356 Porsche' bodies run 5K?

Why is that?  Is it because the builders can get more money for them?  It's not much more work to build the same style 356 body (or is it?).   I would love to see a fiberglass body, that is nice, clean that could be placed on a full size Bug pan.

anything porsche costs more.. :) fake or not! LOL really i do agree with you though...i would think that a 356 body would cost less to produce than a manx.

i would like a 356 that would fit a short pan..man what a scary ride that would be....lol the high speed turbo charged freeway merge in your haul ass 356 replica..it would look like a skate board doing 140MPH

someone sell me a damn 356 body
