How Much Of A Hassle To Air Care?

Hey all! I have yet to fully road insure an A/C VW (its possibly a 1962 Beetle that I'm looking at buying to join the collection) and was wondering how much of a hassle others have had trying to get them through aircare?? Are they more difficult with dual carbs or single? Obviously there is no cats to worry about so what else would need to be checked on aside from making sure its nicely tuned up?? Thanx for the input!!

The only component they may check is the cas cap. Other wise , fresh oil, good tune up and maybe set your idle mixture screws about a quarter turn less then you normally would. As long as it still idles smooth.
And no exhaust leaks or blue smoke.

Aircare is pretty good for beetles, i went through with my 1914 running like crap with a stinger on it, idling at 1800 RPM and i passed with flying colours
