Jim Martin....

Hey Jim.
i have the 1 peice mounted on the car..and am having a slight problem with one fender..i was wanting to know if it was this way on your car...and possibly what you did to make it work...

The passenger side tire...when the car is fully slamed..tucks up inside the fender..with some room to spare..i can slide my hand up between the fender and the tire..

on the drivers side..there is no room at all..almost like the fender is a little more narrow than the passenger side..

maybe because you run a 6\"? narrowed beam...and the tire/wheel combo you have up front allowed it to have enough room move..

as i have a 3\" narrowed beam and 195s on chromies up front..

if this is the case im gonna cut the fender to fix it..i just was not sure if i was missing something..

thanks
Cale

sounds like its coming together.
what i did the last time around was to level and square it.
to level it i used 1 spray can on the same spot on each fender then put a long spirit level across the hood and resting on the spray can tops making sure the clip was level left to right.just make sure the car is level first by putting the level across the shock towers first !!
then with one end of my tape measure hooked on the door  'a' piller pinch seam .i would measure to the top of the headlamp buckets and get it squared that way.
now that you have it level and square make sure the back edges contact the pinch seam on both sides evenly.if not a small amount of filling may be needed to allow one side to come in closer.do all that will accesing the cowling gap as well.
its a lot of work fitting a one piece.
overall body fit should be great as i worked very hard on the pinch seam and cowel area fit.
if all that doesnt give you the room then a fender mod may be needed.
i needed to run a 6' narrowed beam for 2 reasons -yes tires were tight when lowerd as well as the rims i have are huge positive offset.
you can always give me a call if you are stuck and need a new idea.
