So is anyone here wrecking a ghia? I would much rather give an ASF member $$$ than an auto wrecker. or a thing. or a splittie....

What exactly are you after?  I have a disassembled T-34, and a disassembled  '64 Kombi.  Perhaps they were cut in such a way to be of use to you....... the t-34 would be a sweet one of.......

I'm looking for an engine bay. as the type 34 has the same engine layout as a notch, it is of no use to me.  The kombi though.....I'm basically looking to seal a type 1 motor in a type 3, the cleanest way possible. I would need everything the engine tin seal attaches too, and as much metal around that as possible.

yup it \"was\" a walk through.  Unfortunately it was well beyond repair.  It had been hit hard in the driver side, the nose was punched hard, the frame was a mess, ............  I pondered it for a while then went after what was deemed useable.  What ya looking for?  Most of the parts are wrong or too new for my '59 doublecab.

Been a while since I looked at the side doors.  From what I remembe they are good.  the front doors are actually in rather nice shape.  All are being stored in a nice dry shed I can go out back and look closer at them tomorrow for you if you like.  I'd use the doors myself on my '59 but the '64 doors are different than in '59.  As for the roof.... that's precisely why I cut it where I did.

I know of this Ghia section you are needing, but it's near Anacortes Washington... I have been working out a deal to buy a whole yard of stuff, need info?
