does anyone have instructions or maybe a link to how to adjust my link pin front end i tightend it up and then took the buggy for a spin for a couple of miles and now its loose again im thinking im doing something wrong ...... would like to get it fixed proper so it can go for its inspection so it can be licenced for the street :D

there are 2 pins that hold the king pin in place with spiral slots in them that you loosten the clamping bolt and then turn the pins .... sorry i dont know what the pins are called its not the torson bars tho its out at the wheel thanks

That's what I thought you may be talking about - pick up a couple rebuild kits from G at Airspeed - Link pins (those pins your talking about) need to be rebuilt once in a while when they get worn.

You'll need the right size reamer .710. and at least 9\" long. A good press, and a drift to use to press out the old king pin. Use your old link pin to press in the new link bushing. If your assemblys are really loose when you refit them, you can use a link pin shim to tighten up the nuckle. The idiot book has the measurements and shim guide to reisntall them in your car for the camber settings.

Or have a shop do them - Duane's German Autohaus in langley is good.

are you talkin the king pin or the pins that  hold the bottom of the suspension at the king pin cause thats where its loose it does not appear to be loose at the king pin maybe when i adjusted the clamp pins i didnt tighten them tight enough .... whats this idiot book you speak of ?
