i heard Lanny say how funny this movie was and now i see all the signitures with him in it.
i have tried to watch the movie but it was just plain stupid(pun intended)
so after several tries i am almost finished it,i guess it is starting to grow on me.i can't say that there are any spots in the movie that made me laugh out loud there are a few spots that made me smirk(mostly his manarism's)
so what is it about this movie that people are enjoying???

Yes, it was ALL garbage.  I watched it, chuckled, and then realized that I felt stupid for even watching it.  Its amazing how a movie with no plot, no point, etc.. makes such a large hit.

Props to the producer for making too much money on stupidity...I wish I was that smart

haha, I loved it. I think alot of it has to do with the people you watch it with, and the mood your in. I found it funnier the second time around. Its not in your face comedy, but stupid comedy. Alot of people love it, and alot of people hate it. Its a stupid movie, don't take it seriously. To each his own. :P

Right up there up with FUBAR, Army of Darkness, Strange Brew, Office Space and Half-Baked
A lot of people hated these movies but they've definitely got a cult following.
I thought Napoleon was hilarious - a bit slow - but hilarious.
Plus I think it's the only movie I've seen in memory that didn't have any swearing in it.

Gutterslug has the right idea. Destined to be a cult classic. I bought the DVD and watched it a few times more. It can depend on where and when you were in high school that reveals more of the humour. I have heard negative remarks, but most of my friends have said it's the funniest movie they have ever seen. A bit of a pattern..people who have or had a mullet don't get it. Hmmm.  Kip, you're up..

I find the exact same thing. I think its the lines that make the movie, proven by the immense soundboards that people have now created.

oh, and if you liked the movie,  you'll love this:

One amazing fact is that there is no profanity, violence(except maybe the steak incident) , nudity etc, etc. The movie was made by Mormons. Pretty clever.
