Dealing With Cabin Fever
« on: January 25, 2005, 07:25:17 AM »
So I'm browsing oldbug.com and what do I see....

And oh my gosh that brings me back 4 years to the first time I saw my bug sitting in the pouring rain in a shipping yard on the side of Buraby mountain.
So what do you guys do for Cabin vw fever? I can't even wrench on my car I'm so far away..
And if theres one thing for sure now... Once my mom's Cabriolet is done the bert's going back to near stock and I'm finding a later shell that I can hack and not feel guilty.

Wow...He has got your trained.

You 2 wouldn't be intrested in a time share would you?  since we moved up here to Sicamous and it is one big holiday anyways, we havn't used any of our credits for anything.  We are allowed 1 - 2 weeks depending on time of year, ( you can borrow from the next year too and go for even longer.  Our's can be passed down to our kids so they can also enjoy this for their lifetime once we are gone.  Many places from tahiti, hawaii, cabo, vegas, and all up the california- washington coast, including vancouver and whistler, and many others.  It is called Worldmark, they have a timeshare in Birch Bay, which is very handy for the last minute weekend get-aways, which you can stay at on \"Bonus time\" for $40.00 US  a night.  We paid over $14000.00 cdn when we bought it (when the cdn dollar was worth $0.64) , and once we actually advertise this are wanting $6000.00 cdn, which is a steal and should be gone very quick once I do place some internet adds.  We pay something like $300-$ 350 US per year for maintenance fees and that is all.  Once the credits are paid for,  the maintenance fees are the only yearly fees to pay, and then you can holiday in style.  We have been to Vegas, Hawaii, Birchbay, Leavenworth, Vancouver, and Whistler, and absolutly love it, we live too far from the airport now, and we just cant drive to the closer places without making a huge trip of it.  WE loved the last minute lets go somewhere this weekend apeal of this.

If you are intrested PM me, then we can talk by e-mail.

Maybe I shouldn't have posted this ,

heh. me and four girls from high school get together once a year in the same timeshare (owned by friend's parents) in birch bay, and it's always a weekend of lounging, eating waaay too much good food, walking along the beach and drinking girly drinks. it ends up being $20 bucks each for the entire weekend -- a ridiculously small price to pay for a slice of sanity.
Sometimes I get the feeling the whole world is against me, but deep down I know that's not true. Some smaller countries are neutral.

  there will be no girly drinks on your road trip -- james has a prescription of fireball he has to fill, dammit.
