well another big saturday night at the martin house.everones asleep but me.
so ,i'm hearing alot of talk about big plans.so lets hear them ,what are you up to.!!!!!!!

-i'll start ,first i'm sick of working in a clutterd shop so i'm in the process of a major garage overhaul.security!/walls/lights/floor/ storage ,the whole shabang.then i will go over the car and finish all the small little things i never got a chance to due.
since getting the car on the road late this year the first main goal was to relax and enjoy it  as well as drive it hard and see if there is any more week points.over all things held up well and it was sure great to have it painted and running at the same time.
since the car is reassembled late this year there is not a whole lot of big plan to do. so,
this years big plan for me will be to finnally get to the track and see how well it can run on and off the bottle.and take part in a few shows / events this year.
pretty boring stuff, come on scare me .what are you planning

I'd be happy with getting the notch in my garage again.  Then the fun for me can start with a pan swap for a \"Brad Purser Special\" type 3 pan with type 1 bulkhead so I can run a 3\" narrowed bj beam, and a set of torque thrusts. I still need to build the 2275 I have in pieces in the closet, and general assembly of the car. I \"hope\" to have it on the road this year, but I've been saying that for the last 5 years...

I tightened up the play between the chrome shaft and the bottom shaft, then also tightened up the play in the main pivot.  Should work even better than when it was in your car.
I've also modded a second shifter to work with the 5 speed, and adapted the Chevy shifter to it.  It is gonna be really nice since its action is even smoother than a Hurst.
Haven't started putting the trans together yet.

My plan is to finish my 1st year apprenticeship at bcit, for (electrical)

Then I have a few plans for my car:

Paint it in mid spring with a flat colour, not to sure what colour yet??
New Header system.
Maybe purchase some wide 5 style wheels, either Brms or Ercos.
Race at mission raceway. cause i've never done it before.

Party!!!!

Well I'm freakin busy with the \"pink panther\" as my friends call it.

- IRS conversion in a couple of weeks complete with a new rear disc kit I'm pickin up from airspeed.

- Completely seal the whole interior of the car and soundproof the hell out of it. That's this weekend. Maybe finally put my stereo in too.

- Tear down my freshly-built 2110 and install a new forged crank to replace the cast POS that broke in it (after 3 weeks F*%^ING I might add)

- Strippin 'er down in a few months for a respray to get rid of the horrible colour that's on it. I'm thinking that Audi TT \"flattish grey\" or HOK Organic Kandy Green over a gold metallic base (kinda pimp-ish), but not sure yet.
I'm doing it all myself to save the cash for the next step.

- 2 words; Air ride. I'm jumpin on that bandwagon some time in May I think but haven't seen a good enough kit yet. We'll see what happens but I'm not holding my breath.

- Goin' back to the books after a ten year hiatus. I went to high-school to eat lunch so now it's upgrade time. Better late than never I guess.

Well that's my plan.    :mullet:

Maybe I should actually get back to work now.

there's never a bad time for that.

i just recently went back after 10 years away and it feels great. 'twas a little hard to pick up the routine again, but after a couple weeks it's like clockwork.

best of luck. ;)

Still hoping to get my '76 on the road by summer lol... with any luck though I'll get working on the engine swap a little more seriously once i get it inside (a little warmer in the garage than at the side of the house these days!). Lots on the to-do list with this puppy, but best to get it done right.

In the meantime, might be buying another bus!! I'll know this weekend for sure, gonna make sure I can aircare it before I buy it. It'll give me a daily driver till i get my 76 running. Should be fun  B)  B)  B)

Just found out I'm actually an SFU student so i'll start looking at course options for them now too :).
