Welcome aboard!

Where are you located? 2-300 on pumpgas is a tall order, but it will be a blast to drive!

hello and welcome.

i'm wondering, does darren k. still build motors? if so, he's your man for a hi-po race motor. call airspeed & talk to geoff or jim about it.

I live n Colorado Springs, Colorado.  I think even just a motor with 150-200 hp would be nice but, I want to turn heads lol.  Ive been lookin and serchin for parts, havent found much, but i think 200hp wouldnt be hard to get with a turbo. I dont know i Mostly do work on imports (hondas, toyotas, all thet stuff). Just tryin to expand my racing and automotive skill with tryin to make a bug go pretty quick.

are you looking to build your own motor or looking for someone to build it for you?

check out pat downs at http://www.cbperformance.com or the kris & jason lauffer at http://www.vwparadise.com

both places have parts and can build turnkey motors too.

you should be able to get a fairly streetable 200+hp motor that runs on pump gas that will definately turn some heads and beat some v8's & imports.

Matt sorry to disapoint you but I can't think of any thing funny  to say back, but in abby on king road across from the prison is '68 or newer bug. It has been chopped and I think there is a cage in it,and no drive train.

does anybody know anything about it..... [_[

Bob, are you near south park.

Another place to check out...yes I am advertising for the shop, is Franklin's VW Werks. They just built a type 4 motor for a Bug that was dyno'd at 185hp on pump gas...as far as I know it was pump.
