Nope never said the runs had to be at mission

Line 6 of the guidelines says \"Runs can be made at any legal track (Mission, PIR, SIR etc)\"

Not to sure about going global...

I figured it would open up spots for more people, once you've been to the track you get addicted cause it's such a rush and you start to make plans to go faster.

Good Idea James.

on the subject of letting alberta, washington, etc.. join in, the AC top 20 doesn't really specify if it is for BC only.

I think you should give it a try with BC only for now, and think about adding in other people later...or making it a Canadian AC top 20.  It will let our friends down in the states know that we have tough cars too :P.  There are a lot of cars forming and being built up here and it is going to be nice to have the locals shoot for a spot in the top 20!

what do you guys think?

James, its up to you!

it does specify that the vehicle must be licensed in BC.

great job on the site james. it looks top notch.

the pic of the hulk doing the massive burnout is awesome. the reflection off the hood is magnificent with the smoke billowing out the rear wells.

from a non-racer standpoint (me ;) ) i think a western canadian top 20 is a good idea. nothing against our neighbours to the south but i think it would really help to maintain the competitiveness of the ac community in the western provinces (bc, alberta, sask). it's also kinda cool to have our own top 20. maybe after awhile you could add an international top 10. B)

just a thought.

I'm thinking Western region being Alta,BC,Wash - Seattle has alot of nice cars (and surrounding areas) and they are alot closer than Alta - plus a large contingent comes up for the GCVW so it would increase turnout for the drags (I would hope).

I want to iron all this out before the season gets too close...

More input anyone?

Where is this hulk video?  all I see is pictures.  The opening video is from europe I think, it could be california too, I have seen it before,  if that is the car you thought was the hulk.

I say keep it BC for this year, you may be surprised at the times.  If it is lagging abit with some 16 second cars then include a larger area.

He said Picture - there is one on the ACTop20.com site

Dunno, last year was BC only - ten spots were easily filled and some decent times got bumped off. Now it's 15, there will be more cars out but why make it easy? Why not open it up a bit and make it harder to make the list?

in the guidlines i read ,OPEN TO ALL AIRCOOLED VEHICLES IN B.C  and   MUST BE REGISTERD AND DRIVEN IN B.C
so sounds like james you made the decision already to keep it canadian and local to one province only.

Yeah, this is all I can see in the boxes on the left;

<!-- this is the code for a button below,
   just copy and paste the code to make multiple
   buttons, you will notice we have did this a
   few times for example -->
I guess they're supposed to be some kinda button you click on with your mouse pointer thingy with the little arrow on the end that moves around the screen when smack your mouse around  :P

will do wayne! good idea!

Yes the guidelines from last year says BC,Canada only - but then again it didn't include Fiats last year either. I am getting good response from South and East so I am thinking yes

In this forum I see lots of partisipation from guys in Alta and Sask.  The number of WA guys that show up here is slim to none.  Another reason I see to keep it CDN only.

Canadian only content would be nice to see. Maybe send out a challenge to the guys in the northwest part of the states to start their own top 20, then in the end of the year see which group is sitting where for times...should make for good bragging rights. :)

ET, MPH, weight...that's what counts. CR will show comparisons although virtually all the N/A street cars are on pump gas. This may change as race fuel is becoming far more affordable due to the poor US dollar.
