Stock Engine Needed ..

I am looking for a stock aircared 1600S/P or D/P to rent/ borrow in the next few months. The new engine combo probably won't pass...

Considering my old combo wouldn't pass after 20 plus passes at Aircare, I'm outta luck.Bruce Tweddle made it REALLY close. The off idle problems w. IDA's are a real pain. The only parts from the last 2276 are the crank/rods, flywheel, P&C's, oil pump, straight cuts and a few other bits. The trans is completely redone also. Argh.

lanny, i've got a stock 1600s/p that came out of my oval.

it hasnt ran in 2 years (it's been out of the car) but it ran fine and passed aircare when it was last in. prolly needs a good tune-up.

you're welcome to borrow it to see if it'll work.

That would be perfect Silas.. I'll give you a shout when I'm closer to moving the car to the shop. I am doing some body touch up at work before installing the new motor. The trans should be installed in a few weeks. I'll have to drive it with a 1600, should be pretty strange Thanks.
