Fiat's On The Top 20 List
« on: December 02, 2004, 01:50:24 PM »
Ok seeing as Brian has asked here is a poll to decide if I should change the rules of the Top 20 List to include Other cars that are powered by an Aircooled VW engine.

Don't forget if this is changed it would allow trikes and what ever else wants to be powered by our engines.

I think it's a good idea. Fiberglass buggies are no different as long as they have a VW air cooled motor.
Fiats with VW motors have been around since the 70's and I like the idea that someone is going to have one out at the track. my vote is YES!

I think its cool that brian is building a fiat with an aircooled VW motor.  I think he should be allowed.

James, maybe put in a footnote restricting the top 10 to be just VW powered aircooled motored cars.

Stephan

PS:  but no other aircooled engined things (harleys, zambonies, tractors, etc.. :P)

Alright, the people (and Brian) have spoken. I will modify the rules to allow alternate vehicles powered by Aircooled VW engines into the List - it still needs to be street legal though....
