Be Care-ful Where You Put Your Garage Door Openers
« on: November 06, 2004, 05:29:35 AM »
Hey guys.
As most of you know I'm currently far from home living abroad. Well on Thursday evening my sister's(who lives about 3 blocks away from Hoosier daddys domicile) house was broken into. Basically it was a targeted B&E. They took a large amount of meat of frozen meat, a case a tuna(sounds like crack heads eh?) a miter saw and a pressure washer. All of this was basically done by breaking into one of their vehicles and hitting the garage door opener. They then proceeded to have their pick of whatever they wanted. Needless to say the RCMP is involved. Now obviously my family is going to be keeping their garage door openers out of sight.. Anyways this could happen in any city, not just Surrey. So just a reminder peeps, keep personal belongings out of your vehicles.. I could just imagine if they had some access to the garage where 'bert is..

Keep safe volks.

It's unfortunate but my hood has recenlty become a target for lots of breakins, even Mr Sadie (Crossing guard guy at the school, if you ever drive by he is the old guy waving to everyone) anyway his truck was stolen right from the parking lot of the school with him only a few feet away!
I've had to let Mr Seven have his run of the yard to keep unknown people away.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Its obviously clear that thieves don't care. And I think alas as sad as it sounds there are very few absolutly safe places. Will wave next time if I see him(might be a while).
Locking away my garage door opener....
