Hey guys,

I recently picked up a 77 Westy van, in decent shape.  I owned a 71 beetle years ago, and I'm happy to be back in VW land.

However my new van does need some body work, mostly up near the front doors and wheel wells.  Any suggestions on where I can take it locally (Vancouver area) for a decent overall look/quote on the body work?

Honestly, I don't need it to be factory new, I just want the rust cut out, new panels welded in, and when everything is rust-free, some new paint.

thanks for the help.

-Warren

welcome!!

Good luck with the westy!!... I'm slowly trying to place mine together right now !!

A great body shop out in Langley is Panel Craft Classic Automobile Restorations. Talk to steve. He's a great guy and he'll do a bloody great job. Worth a look anyways. My father has just had his Alfa Spider come back from a repaint and some body work. Beautiful.

Anywho... good luck with the bus!

Thanks for the site, I'm sure those guys do great work, but they are probably out of my current budget.

What I need for now is some quick welding and rust cutting.  But I'll try to check them out.
