First of all. im not putting anyones car down. i think its great that he decided to save a post 69 t3. and its cool that he decided to do something different and tastfull such as putting newer style wheels on the car.
i respect and apreciate all the work that goes into any classic project car whether it be a split window or a 79 vert.

now im just voicing my opinion on the wheels, which im allowed to do, this is a public forum, and i reread my post a few times and i dont see how im putting that car down. if it seems that way, its not my intention.

and the fact is imagines are BBS ripoffs, wheels made to look like split rims, while they are definetly not. they are japenese which means they use brittle aluminum, that instead of bending like european alu, it breaks and cracks and is difficult and or impossible to fix.

to summerize, i think the car looks great with those wheels, the darker colour sets off the orange very nice, they just wouldnt be my choice of wheel.

wait, i've seen this kind of behaviour before. i think dr. phil classified it as stickingmyfootinmymouthandbeggingtogetmyasskicked-itis.

so, you're 0 for 2 on the day, jakey. what trick are you gonna pull out of your thong next?

at first I thought it was a photochop but alas it is true! Looking good.. Now how does it handle?

Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

The wheels are msr alloys, made by american eagle, the same company that makes the 5 and 8 spokes that we all have on our cars, the wheels are good quality

The overall ride/handling is way better than with the stockers. Because I have front slammed so far it is a little bumpy on rough roads but I can live with that
