main street sheet metal. in vancouver on main street between the ivanhoe   and the old american.

they sell sheet metal and angle iron, steel, rebar, etc.

very nice folks that have been in business for a very long time.

i'm sure there are a ton of other places. i went to one in surrey/delta area (cant remember the name) and it was run by this incredibly skinny guy and his built wife. they each had half a pack of smokes hanging from their toothless grins at all times and would bicker and cuss each other out constantly.  :P . great entertainment there.

you just wish you had the opportunity to use it first.

Its never about originality, its about speed.

Look up in the phone book for a place called Metal Supermarket.  There are a couple of locations, including one on Still Creek in Bby.  They have sheet, steel shapes, Al sheet, Al extrusions.  Best thing is to go in there and wander around.

Metal Supermarkets are expensive as hell, we dont even buy are stuff for work there with a discount. Try Alder Steel in Langley i think it is. I buy all of my stuff for my four wheel drive projects and stuff there. They have a shear and will cut to your dimensions right there.

As for the front 1/4 marcel i have not been back out to my car again, i have lots of people that want pieces i just gotta find some time.

That would be Tim at Short-Cut Sheet Metal. He's good shit. He's an EXCELLENT fabricator and does have a load of metal there as well.
He's behind Ed Schram Motors on 132nd and 78th roughly (in the south-west corner of the complex next to Pro-Gas) if anyone needs to find him. Sorry but I can't remember the phone #.
If you're ever looking for a go-cart or motorized bar-stools he's the guy to see. Have you ever seen his narrowed rabbit mud bogger on the K10 frame? That thing is freakin scary looking. On 40's and seats 1 in the middle of the car.
Just be patient if you initiate conversation as he will talk your ear off for as long as you will listen.

And that makes you what?

Can you actually reach the pedals yet? Or are you still using wood blocks on your tricycle.

shouldnt you be more concerned with improving the 22 second 1/4 mile that your breadbox runs, rather than worrying about me and my trike?

no excuses here. just the simple facts. my guess is that during those 5 years you spent in high school, you missed the fact that education is everything. dont worry though. it's never to late.

you can have the noodles. apparently you need them more than i do. you've gotta fuel the tub somehow.  ;)

wow, another zinger from the 76breadbox.

i had a job. many of them in fact. i've just chosen to further my education to improve my lifestyle and broaden my horizons.

like i said. it's never to late.

of course, when you have as slow a reaction time as my grandma has at a game of whack-a-mole, i dont expect you to pick it up right away. :P

i'll give you some time to let it sink in. B)

so are you trying to imply that I am some sort of loser with a loser job? I have fulfilled all of my educational goals and continue to fulfill my career goals on a regular basis. I am very satisfied with my lifestyle, and career. I have all the toys I want, I have a house, I have money in the bank. I look forward to hearing about your career whenever you get one, and pay off your student loans and so on. Your just a puppy, lost in your own little world. Of course you are right, education is important, no argument there.

And damn it hurts so much when you mock me about my 3100 lb bus with about 70 hp doing a 20 sec 1/4 mile. At least I made it down to the end of the track, you? You were standing on your soapbox beaking off about how slow everybody was and your time on the 1/4 mile???? I am sorry did I miss the post of your time in the 1/4 mile????

By the way what were your picks again this year for the top ten?

Oh yeah get a job.
