trust me, there is NO place i'd rather be than in my garage working on my car. however, now is not the time.

fyi, i've got 7 hours of school a day, 4-5 hours of homework a night, living off a student loan and a little bit of savings and my girlfriend is just out of school and starting her new career (and it's not exactly hauling in the dough), and my f@#kin garage got broken into and all my tools got stolen. so even if i had the time, i dont have the resources. those are just the facts.

now, i met jim through the airspeed forums a long time ago. we both live in the vancouver area and decided to start hanging out. this was close to the beginning of \"the woks\" rebuild. i have helped jim a little with his project and he has helped me with mine. thats what friends do, right? ;)  and after seeing what that car has been through in the last 8 months, damn straight i'm going to pat my buddies back. and i will cross my fingers for a sunny day of cruising, because after spending all summer busting his balls to finish his car, jim deserves a good day to cruise.  B)

Hey Jim, Alan and I were cruising out to Airspeed in his white stock 67 Bug when we saw you at 96th turning onto 176 southbound.
The little kid in the back with the giant red earmuffs really stands out!

Car looks really sleek.  The chop makes it look longer than normal.

Let me know how the LM1 works for you... I think I need one
 B) [/quote]
i can't say enough about how happy i am with the LM1 unit.i have used it to map out rpm/clutch/throttle/nos/suspension and of course a/f ratio.
this unit has proved me wrong a few times already.but instead of having to make a change based on gut or a plug colour you have the real info right infront of you to go over in fractions of a second.of course this tool is not going to make you a instant expert on jetting ,but it is surely the best way too start enabling you to learn and make educated changes and then plot the progress

the main unit is powerd from a direct hook-up to the battery or cigar lighter socket, the 02 sensor goes into the exhaust after the collector,i'm lucky i have a bung welded in the header already that allows for the o2 sensor to thread into.plus i also use the rpm converter cable that gives rpm display onto your data ,whickh also allows a additional 5 inputs rated at 5 volts
