Hey I'm the new guy. Rumour has it, that you have a couple of type3's and I may be able to persuade you to part with some front fenders, maybe more, mine is a 1970 notch with only 8000 miles on the clock and I'm dying to get it on the road. It's to good to let sit around

For some reason late T3 fenders are getting harder to find around here....I ain't no miser, but am getting a pretty mean collection of T3 parts going. I may have one good set that I'm willing to get rid off....

I could help you out with the "just sitting on your shop floor" dilemma. It could be sitting on my shop floor......

How could I get a look at the fenders and what would have to be involed in making you part with them I would rather you part with the fenders than me part with the car.

This is also my first air-cooled project, lots of water-cooled though, so any advice could be beneficial.
The fenders were so bad they fell off and the inners need some patching 14 years ago the car  was a particapant in a rear ender and has sat since .From the doors back other than some dings and 35 year old fade the car is awesome even the int is almost mint. The engine runs great and it only has 8000 miles. I'm hopeing to keep all the work only on the front to retain as much originality as possible.
