what is everyones opinion on wrapping the header in that tape stuff? pros and cons?

If it gets wet (or when) it will hold water - which WILL rust your header.

I had it on my bug before I upgraded to a better header. I had the header cermic coated, then put on the wrap. Thought it would protect the apron from excess heat. I was wrong. [_[  Waste of money in my opinion. Oh yeah, if it gets wet, it will eventually come apart and fall off.

i havent used header wrap, but my sources confirm exactly what trevor and james have said.
