hello all, I am new to air cooled VWs. I am hooked. I am putting together a 75 baja full fendered. looking for hints on adapting bus trans. I already have an 091 gearbox. need to know whats best or whats easiest in terms of axles. thanks

You can use stock axles or buy the sway a way axles. For the most part stock axles will do fine.

Which CV`s will be required to run the stock axles?

Bus T2 on the inner and beetle T1 on the outer, unless you swap the outer drive axle to a thing/944 then you can run T2 on the outer as well.

I was told the lenghts are different. also something about removing a retaining clip for the cv. Thanks for all the replies.
