Local Hardware Shop ?
« on: September 09, 2004, 08:43:14 AM »
I just Moved to Langley 2 months ago. I just started working on my 67 after quite a long lay off. Just wondering where I can buy some new bolts metric of corse. I talked to Jim at Air speed on Tuesday but I can't remember what or where he told me to go. (For metric bolts) Any good local shops that don't cost lot's of bling ?

    Thanks Curt

Back in the day I used to work for a place called OEM Hardware in Surrey (80th and 128th - next to Acklands) who carries all sorts of specialty automotive fasteners and hardware.
They've got a ton of metric stuff there.
They've even got stainless metric allen-head stuff too which is kinda nice for using on the pan bolts and fenders etc. I think they only sell multiples of 25 though and I know they're not the cheapest in town either but you get what you pay for. Try Airarms in Surrey as well.

Cheers!

I've got lots of allen-head metric bolts. the company I work for swaps then out for sae and they got in the scap bins from there. I'm sure I've got more than enough I can part with some. I work out in Langley near 200th and 92nd, so it's close.

Raider industrial in Langley has every kind of bolt, and they close at 4:30 sharp!!! I forgot the name of the road they are on.  Just down a few doors from the post office.
