Kirin The Traitor....
« on: August 20, 2004, 02:01:01 AM »
Rumour has it that Kirin is set to sell his Bug, and come over to the dark side of BMW ownership. He was spotted by my crack team of spy photogs test driving an M1 today!

You can't see him in this pic, but he's just off camera, bowing down to the BMW mecca that sits before him.

Despite really enjoying the M1, it's a touch out of his price range, but it seems that this one here is exactly what he needs. Note his truck in the back ground, to prove he was out on test drives! The Bug is sadly tucked away, suffering from a case of the ever common, \"Volkswagensalwaysbreakdownitis\". The only way to heal it is with a douse of \"MustbuyaBMW2002cilin\"

Such BMW hater's. Just because your into Aircooled volkswagens doesn't mean you can't appreciate other vehicles. At any rate its all a joke I can't afford a M1 unless I win the lottery or find a really rich couger. And afaik a lot of us have another vehicle as a daily driver. So what does it matter if its a ford or a honda or even GASP! A bmw?!?

Sometimes I get the feeling the whole world is against me, but deep down I know that's not true. Some smaller countries are neutral.

Gotta say, Kirin, had an interesting chat with a 73-2002 owner just today, in traffic/Terminal Ave.

I glanced over and was admiring this yellow 2002, its owner rolled down the passanger window and said she just sold her 74 bus (she missed it) and bought the 2002. I told her I used to have a 76-2002( I missed it ) and drove it back and forth to Whistler & Seattle, lots of power and lots fun.

A friend of mine has a 74 2002, and a 73 Westfalia. The Westy has something silly like 15000 original miles on it. He loves them both very much, for very different reasons.

It does say Seattle, last time I checked BMW was from good ole Germany...

Like Marcel said, this is a vw forum. I would never, never (only death) give up my butterball bus.
Gotta get that stinger off soon, the poping is driving me nuts!! ;)

Still have M1 love plus bert love.. Yeah I passed english. My english teacher whipped me into shape.. but come on using abbreviations is fun. I agree with Aircooled rules. I'm not selling my bug. But driving a bmw instead of a ford daily would be a lot closer to a volkswagen..

Whatever Blankster daddy:p
If you really want my car heres the price.
3 years hardwork neglecting your social life.
Countless late nights trying to get your car back together.
endless frustration.
1 pint of blood
a 6x6 skin graph for all the skinned knuckles and burn marks.
Several gifts to my family for all those events.
2 weeks vacation time.
couple liters of synthetic transmission oil.
6 bcaa tows.
1 set of new hiking boots.
2 pairs of jeans.
one new golf shirt(Really shouldn't have worn that one but hey when your car break's down what can you do).
One reseal my parents driveway.
Fix the holes in the drywall in our garage where tools were flung.
Repaint the new shop floor.
And of course everything has its price. If your willing to complete all these terms and cough up the $9500 bucks I'll bring Seabert over in the morning.
