Now's the time to register! Over 1500 cars showed last year. In past years parking has been first come first serve so a group cruise would need to be organized to ensure parking next to each other.

I'm thinking meet at Willowbrook parking lot by Whitespot (NW Corner of mall). I have sent an email asking what time gates are open for entry so a time is yet to be determined.

Don't forget about the massive burnouts after the show and the night before.  It would be awsome to get someone there to rip off a good 3rd gear tire smokin one for the crowds.  Oh yah maybe a second gear burn out would be OK too since no-one in Vancouver has the power for a third gear one.

No-one? You been smokin' something weird up there???? I think there is more than 1 car around that could do that.

I'm hoping that the "night-before" festivities and smoke show are going to be as good as last years. For those of you who maybe weren't there... previous years there's been amazing smoke shows behind the hut, by A&B Transmission. (also by Mr. Hamburger? correct me if I'm wrong?) Last year was huge, and that girl even got hit trying to cross the by-pass. I've noticed Java huts been crackin' down with security this year, locking up their gates to back there, adding speed bumps, and the police have been dishing out more and more tickets to people who're spinning their wheels.

All I can say is... I'm hopin' to smell rubber, but it's not looking as good as it did last year
Anyone know of anyother prime locations where stuff happens? where's best to watch after the show's done? what do you guys think?
I'm excited for that weekend allready.

Matt

I must be getting old. I thought last year was an out of control gong show. I'm hoping to catch some good burnouts too, but hopefully the general public and the muscle heads behind the wheel will have a bit more common sense this year.

I read in the paper last year that there may be a possible controled burnout area this year...I never read anything else about it though.

When you register ask,  they may know forsure.

A controlled area would be smart, last year was pretty out of control. It was good, but too big, and too crazy.

Nope no controlled area as the city does not "condone that type of activity". So in otherwords mayham as per previous years, look both ways 12 times before crossing the street!

You're prolly going to need to look more than 12 times! They'll be crackin' down this year.... Front page of the Today's Langley Advance. Coincidence or what? Bummer!

James, call me too on Friday when you are heading to the hut.

6:45 might be a wee bit early for my old bones so I'll probably just try to find you guys a little later in the morning.

I'll be flying solo Friday night so I can give you a ride home if you need it. Just remember... I don't put out on the first date!
