Saw this posted on a friends IG feed, sorry to who ever owns that beetle! I saw it earlier at the show it was really nice, hope they were able to distinguish it in time!

Yes, this was very sad to see.
We were travelling along East 1st, approaching Commercial Drive, and saw this from a distance.
On the corner where the Royal Bank is, many VW people were there, Joel etc.
Great to see the VW Community helping Randy.

That doesn't neccessarily mean it's toast. I've seen cars sit there for long periods of time and then be repaired.
Sometimes cars sit there throughout negotiations.
