Question....my car has expired (brand new) Simpson 5 point harnesses.....do hey care about dates on street legal events?

They questioned me on my belts this past Friday at mission. The tech guy said if I was to run a 11:50 or faster i would have to get them recertified. You won't beat me, so you should be ok. :hee20hee20hee:

Tech guys know me and my car. we will roll up together. The tech guy named John is the best guy to deal with.
