Well planned event . The hard work that goes into it shows in the enjoyment . If it wasn't for those involved we'd have nothing . Had a fantastic  time , big thanks to all event staff .

Man what a whirlwind of a weekend!!!! as always can't say enough about all our friends that make this happen....there is so much behind the scenes stuff that has to happen to make the Great Canadian so GREAT!!! from brian waz offering up a secure locked garage space for my car while over to help with carb jetting from Kroc to Geoff coaching me how to rip a car through the tunnel, over the bridge and back to the host hotel with no cooling late saturday night after chucking my belt flying down the #1 then Bruce Mcrindle (sp?) saving my ass with a new belt then Lannys help with steering problems at 11:30 night before big show! Thanks to all that stopped and checked out the 55.....such a rad feeling driving 35 mins at 4000 rpm and into the show.....this aint no trailer queen! was super cool answering all the questions and recieving so many wicked compliments.....i felt like a rockstar with all the special treatment parking and photo shoots  really a great community we have with a very strong scene, thats what makes it fun for me...the passion for these old beasts is second to none!

until next year.....we will see you there!!!! thanks guys!

Congrats to everyone !!! I'm so proud to be a DVKK member and a part of our VW community even with a few speed bumps along they way. This show is and always will be the biggest and baddest show in Canada. With all the supporting clubs who make it happen. Personally having two cars I built for customers placing first sent me over the moon as I've never done that and I'm damn proud of what I do. All in all I can't wait for the silver anniversary next year to have my own cars there !!!! Stay tuned to Aircooled Werks Facebook and The Great Canadian page for things to come.

I'd like to add my thanks to the organizers!

The AVR barbecue "hit the spot" (after a long drive), the drag racing was great fun (new PR as well), the Regency VW breakfast turnout was excellent (it was easy to connect with everyone in a smaller "show & shine") and the collectables show had some memorabilia that I've never seen before.

I had Sunday set aside to spend time with my son & granddaughter, so I missed the big Concord Place show, but still enjoyed the weekend:)

If anyone has Mission Raceway pictures or videos, I'd love to see them:)

Thanks again!!
