:wacko:  :wacko:  :wacko:  :wacko:  :wacko:  :wacko:  :wacko:  :wacko:  :wacko:  :P Well its 35 degrees almost at  noon here and yes the lake is an option and 10'000 people are there using it I'm staying in the basement trying to replicate shanes famous smoothies and trying to forget about ferries (Sorry James)  :( So lets hear some of your favorite tips or tricks for beating the heat B)  B)  B)  B)  B)


I saw a $9 dollar pool at the dollar store today that might just wind up in my yard this afternoon  :D  :lol:

Here's how we kept kool last night:



Cameron's custom machined - aluminum baseplate, weed eater, gas powered smothie machine!

Take it anywhere, anytime. Just add ice and your favorite flavouring  B)

That's right Hans! I like beer too! But there's nothing nicer than being out in the middle of nowhere, and offering your friends a freshly made marg or pina colada.

I just turned off the heat in my hot tub!

Works well! That and a bucket of ice and a fan when I go to bed, cheapest air conditioner!

But I got to get one of those gas powered blenders! :rockon:

My vote is the kiddie pool and an Elmo sprinkler to top it off :) You can set it to the mist dial, and you're set!!! :)

We had that heat here on the east coast last week. Hotter than hell. Good thing I got that 12,000 btu air conditioner last year  :D

Well thanks for all the suggestions and comments , the blender is a definit must  B) . VW mom got the budget Idea . I,m just looking for the best kidde pool now under $10 got the sprinkler already and the fridge is now full of beer :)  . Take care in the hot weather
Actually very smokie up here in Salmon arm today due to fires up north from us . :(

Budget? I got the weed eater motor for free, from a gardener friend. I bought a blender from Value Village for $5, and gutted it. All it took was some time to make up the adapter plate to connect the motor to the jug, and bolt some pieces together. Yum.... frosty tasty drinks!
