So I was out in the shop today, pluggin away, and this guy rolls up in a junkyard dog type flatdeck truck

, full on mullet to boot!! :mullet: He says to me
\"you wanna buy some o'dem vdubbya parts\"
Umm..maybe, what have you got??
\"I got boxes o'crap sitting in my shed, a motor, a bunch o'tin, boxes of it. You can have it all for 50 bucks\"

Now I just sit and wait for his return call, he's just around the corner too!!

Well, just got back from the dude's place. Boxes o'crap was right. but he did mention he is supposed to haul a bug away from another guy in Abby

I'm on my way to have a look now, but if it's anything like the boxes o'crap, it'll be headed for the crusher in no time.

Turns out he knows Steve from lordco in Mission, Steve already bought the good stuff he said.

I guess his version of \"a small window\" must be in relation to a Peterbilt. That car was a super beetle,already cut up into half a dozen chunks of scrap. Oh well, I know one of these wild goose chases will pay off eventually.

s'funny. in your first post when you said the guy mentioned something about a small window, i was thinking \"small compared to what in his mind?\" i mean, his wife is probably like \"oh it's huge\" so the guys size proportioning skills are just way off. that and the fact that he doesnt know jack about vws.

oh well. you wouldnt know unless you investigate. next time some dude will be talking about a box of junk that is actually a bunch of split parts.
