Hmmmm maybe just me but "classic bug", and electric,  just seems wrong!.... unless of course the comment is "my electric 6 volt wiring system is getting olde, or my electric wipers are anemic or....    What an awful thing to do to a "classic bug" .... AND a sliding 63 rag to boot!. ARGGGG......   GO BUY A PRIUS!!!

Maybe just me but People need to get over non stock modification of old beetles. By 1963, I think there were over 5 MILLION of these cars built.
With some exceptions like Split windows, they aren't some ultra rare Desoto or even like a 1969 camaro (93 000 built)

Tammy's been wanting to turn hers 59 beetle into a electric beetle for 2 years now.  When she is tired of not winning car shows she will do it hint hint.  Lol.

I'm just glad to see they didn't actually hack anything and it's totally modular/reversible.  If you're going to do it, at least don't wreck it.
As for me, I'll keep my 63 sliding rag running of 6 volt electric.... and gasoline, thanks.
