After i bought my beetle in march of '97 iv tried contacting the original owner of my beetle (still had the original owners manual with her info) , and after many try's i gave up , woman are harder with the name change but i realized i hadn't tried calling the adress that was in the manual ?..hmmmm , googled it and found a phone number and said to myself what am i going to say !?!?..lol, what are the chances that they live there?!? ... So its ringing !.. "Hello?..". "Um yes is there an Edna Peck there?.." A bit of a silence , "she was my grandmother and sorry she passed away in 1985 from old age" then i told her i have a beetle that she used to own!.. They were excited !! And they remember it !.. after talking for awhile i Sent them pics of what she looks like now and they have old one's of the beetle when she had bought it ! We are working on meeting up, So stoked !!!
