i'd like to know the legend behind this too. sounds like the dude drove it home from the dealership, put it in the garage in '74 and then forgot about it?? very odd...

Rumor has it there are two NOS 62 beetles in town

We will keep you posted as to what we find out. All we know is they were crated in 62 and later stored along side a NOS Hemi car and others.
