talking with a few people at the A&W show Danny had mentioned he might like to try a set of Nickies http://www.lnengineering.com/type1.html
because no one around here is using them,and i am here to hell ya i can't afford them so i might as well live vicariously through him.

in all honesty they sound great is all the talk good about them??
i would love to try them one day but 2000 us is a bit steep for me.
anybody know some one using them in a type one engine?

Instead of doing nickies, try to get some guys together to make up some birals ( aluminum finned steel lined) instead. There are some great connections around Vancouver to be made for material and foundry work. I would head it up but I only like to play for myself since my time is limited. This is what I will be doing for my motor. Much cheaper, and easier to replace.

describing the Nickies. I know he's on these forums, maybe he can give us some more feedback?

I'll let ya know how well they kool when I get my welded 36er fan spinning above them. yeah, no dog house. And they made my notch down right kooool. But they aren't needed for Most applications.
