I bought a brand new cap and rotor from AVR. I assume now they are just the garbage ones and not German. Anyway, the car started running like crap. I pulled the cap and the black center piece basically disintegrated in my hands. It had less than 2 hours use. That new cap replaced another CIP cap that did the exact same thing, again with almost zero use. Highly suggest not buying the cheapo caps. Why do they bother making these s*&t caps??
