I have decided to trade/sell my fastback after 7 years of ownership. i could write forever about this car but will keep it brief, if you are serious, i will gladly answer any questions via email or pm. i believe i am the 3rd owner, California car, i have reason to believe the car has just over 69,000 original miles. as you can see, very good shape, i build this to be a driver not a show car. 2165cc motor. mint interior. OG 4 speed, lowered via re indexed torsion arms. oil link pin lowered bug shocks in front, gas kyb's out back. continentals all around, brand new smart car tires up front and 165/65s out back, powder coated stock rims so no offset issues and zero rubbing even at full lock.
every light works, all dash lights, speedo, gas gauge, dome lights, horn, even rear trunk light. i used every possible OG piece i could on this car.
now, i am traveling in central america right now, and wont be back for a bit but if there is serious interest, the car can be shown in Langford.
the only reason i am considering selling is to free up some cash for my wife's eye surgery and to fund other projects, that being said i would love to trade with cash on your end for another air-cooled VW, bug, bus whatever. (lowered is preferred and OG paint would be nice) i have tons of pictures at request ..will sell outright for the right price.
