...too many variables IMO, either all OG or whatever...anything goes, everyone has thier own opinion and if it's thier baby it moves up the scale a few notches just because it's thiers and thier opinion is skewed due to personal preference (can't deny I'm in that percentile one way or the other), in between is a very tough call...
I agree. what i meant by my initial post was that to keep it different and unique may require a little more "thinning of the heard", so to speak.
my car is over 50% og paint but i wouldnt want it turding up that page. other people with cars similar to mine may not think so and post theirs up, and that would just detract from the true og paint ones like that badass z28, that coronet or even those bay windows. 
90+% og paint and no repsrays. but thats just my opinion, and you know what they say, they're like a-holes and mine stinks!!

Your right. Initially I thought of having only 90+% original paint and most of the cars on the page so far fit in this category. I had old school rides coming into the shop for 20+yrs and maybe 1-3% have original paint but many had very old 25+ y/o 2nd resprays for some reason or another and it wasn't because of restoration. I feel these cars deserve recognition also. Now you say your car has 50%+ original paint, I do not know the year but that is quite awesome. Shit my 2008 STi had less % of original paint;).
I think we take for granted what our cars have gone through over 25, 30, 40+ yrs and to arrive today with majority of their paint intact. This is why the window was increased for the allowance of cars posted on this page.
I'm new to the air cooled world let alone anything related to a vehicle that can run collectors plates. After seeing Rich or Geoff's bays come to life after looking like scabby, oxidized turds to beautiful old school machines running their original paint is really cool. How often can we find original paint cars from '69 that only need a couple dents(minor) pulled and a very good cut polish and wax and look like they are new?
Post your car up, it isn't a serious site and at least your car is a survivor.
