The past few years we get a group together and meet early Sat morning at the Mc Donalds in Tswwassen, Jump on the early ferry and cruise together to Victoria.

also...not to detract from all the bitchin Victoria Volksfest-ivities (pancake breakfast, cruise from clover point to francellis, the big show)...but if anyone is interested in some extra curricular activities there looks to be a pretty cool outdoor rock festival that weekend too. lori & i have decided to stay an extra night and after the big vw show on sunday we're going to the big rock show sunday night to see weezer, sam roberts band & mothermother!!

Im going and am pretty sure a few other sgvwa are planning on making the trip.
Im not sure what day im travelling as Im still contemplating going over for a few extra days for a little camping and to visit  friends and family.

Sure is getting quiet on here....very little posts.  Everyone must be working really hard to get there vw ready to show off.  I can imagine how many people are cleaning there cars

for anyone heading over early saturday morning that wants to convoy...

meet at the mcdonalds on 56st in tsawassen at 6am, we'll leave at 615am and head to get on the 7am ferry to victoria!

hey jag, it's up to each person as to whether they make a reservation or not. if you make one, read the fine print as you have to be there XX minutes before departure or your resi is void. also, afaik all resi's are non refundable.

ftr, i didnt make one and i think we'll be ok for the first ferry on a saturday morning as long as we get there by 615-630ish.

for those travelling later in the day on saturday or coming back sunday late afternoon/early evening, you might want to book a reservation as those tend to be busier times.
