Car Inspection
« on: May 26, 2013, 07:49:11 AM »
I'm going for collector plates for my car and I need to get a vehicle inspection. I would prefer to stay away for the Canadian Tire type shops and deal with a smaller shop for the inspection. I live in Cloverdale so something local would be great but will travel around the lower mainland to deal with a good shop. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Tom

Does that old VW shop on highway 10 in town do inspections? They were really nice folks there and let me use their shop to replace a clutch cable that broke on the road.

I'm surprised u need to get a vehical inspection...when we applied for one all we had to do was take some pictures and submit it to icbc.  Very simple.   They wanted the engine ...both sides and front and rear taken and headliner and dash...unfortunately we were denied because we lowed the car from stock.  So we resubmitted it again and jacked it up and took pictures. But no go.....so our next choice was to go to a modified hotrod.  But the 59 bug is just one year from allowing that also....it is for 58 or lower...so anyway. U might not need to get it inspected.  Unless it is out of province...would like to here what happens

It is because I'm going for Modified Collector plates that I need an inspection.
