never heard of okvw... and i think i've met schvengy with the herbie clone ( am i right?) at valley west. other than that i'm kind of a recluse in the vw scene, though its not intentional. small kids at home what else can i say?

Lots of water pumper guys but there are a few of us air cooled guys in the club, they still give us respect and it is very friendly and casual. We do a couple cruses and have a bit of a presence at the Great Canadian as well as weekly get togethers and other stuff. There are a few members from Penticton and Vernon as well.

how about the kelowna guys start crashing the blossom run down here in slumberland with thier pre68 rides? there is a more than a few of us giving the yank tank crowd grief. we crash the high ground in the campground and have a merry time. there is very few folks who can say they've had a bad time at the blossom run. free beer and hotdogs on 2 nights, campfires, drunken games, engine blow, killer cruise, all in a closed campground with security. for 75 bucks!

May long weekend. Got to miss the show and shine to hit up the Kelowna swap, but the best part is the cruising and camping anyway. I'll be there in my newly lowered Bus.

Awh man I will be swappin' as well! I hope we have a good turn out! I would like to liberate some of my storage space. Lots of stuff to sell! Notchback project is complete and gone so lots of hoarded up type 3 bits and pieces....and more to move out.
So the cruze is the PM of the same day? That might work out for something to do after!
