My first and very sad post.

A left turning new driver totalled my pristine '68 Autostick Ghia last night. 

I need to have some values of similar cars to present ICBC at my interview to try and recoup some of the loss of my beautiful little collector Ghia.

Can anybody help?  I have already trolled the ebay completed listings and posted at the Samba forum.  More info is always better and any help is appreciated.

Stand your ground with ICBC. I was once the sandwich in an accident in my Ghia. At my insistance, ICBC had my car appraised post accident and paid the claim based on that. The appraisal came within $100.00 of what I paid for the car. It made the difference between writing it off.
Get them to pay for the appraisal.
