WTB:1963 or older beetle

I am looking for a 1963 or older beetle.
I want to do a German look but not a race car
ie.lowered(no rake)on Porsche 17s,otherwise stock exterior(all the chrome),stockish interior
I don't need a huge engine,even a 1600dp with a nice sounding exhaust would work.
Car must be solid,no rust
Fair dollar paid depending on condition up to $10,000

Are you only looking for a complete driver car? I have a '59 original sliding ragtop that I could be talked into selling, but it's a rolling-shell project with new pan halves welded in and painted

Sounds awesome JC but for now I want a driver.I almost bought a '56 rag last year but a couple of friends said "too much filler".

I'd need to see about $2500 to make it worth my while to sell. I don't need to get rid of it, I just feel bad for it sitting around collecting dust with no plans for the immediate future. Or, if someone had a '66 Nova they wanted to get rid of...
