westy travel trailers?

Anybody ever see any of these things? similar to a puck but made by westfalia. i'm going to look at 1959 for sale for $1800 tomorrow .......sounds pretty cool, even has the original tent \/  I never even knew these things existed until a little googling

Yeah they are very nice but few and far between around here.Very nice interior woodwork , cool tents and a real westy feel . I believe but could be wrong most of them where brought over never sold here .The Samba has some good threads on them .Let me kow how you make out really cool unit to go camping in : )

called in sick today to drive up to chemainus to see this thing, waste of time

it was a roach! being made of steel, not alum or glasss the bottom 8" needed to be replaced along with plywood floor and all interior woodwork was pooched! If a guy wanted a full on resto project it would be a sweet little unit but I don't need any more of that right now

total camper van feel, same woodwork, upholstry even had safari sekuirt glass! the exterior tent was the tits! being 6'4" was the deal breaker....they were built for midgets
